BI-Adapter DN 100 + VPC 100 coupling for connecting pipes with non-circular external geometry, rigid version BIA100S_0000
The adapter consists of: an inner stainless steel sleeve, a sealing EPDM collar and a stainless steel expansion wedge. After being embedded in the pipe, the sleeve covered with EPDM expands as a result of the use of a wedge and is pressed against the inner wall of the pipe. Several ring-shaped sealing ribs ensure a tight connection of these elements. In the next work step, the VPC® flexible connector provided in the set should be attached to the other end of the BI adapter. The external diameter of the connected pipe must be within the diameter range of the flexible VPC® coupling used.
