Construction and principle of operation

The key to the effectiveness of this adapter is its unique design. After being seated in the pipe, the stainless steel sleeve, surrounded by an EPDM cuff, is expanded using an expansion wedge. This process causes the sleeve to be pressed against the inner wall of the pipe, and the annularly embedded sealing ribs guarantee a complete seal. Thanks to this, the adapter adapts to the shape of the pipe, providing a stable and durable connection.

In the next step of the assembly, the flexible VPC® connector is attached to the other end of the BI adapter. It is important that the outer diameter of the connected pipe falls within the permissible range for the given size of the VPC® connector.
