Adapter for non-circular pipes – a compromise-free connection

Construction and application

The adapter consists of several key elements: an internal sleeve made of stainless steel, providing strength and corrosion resistance; sealing EPDM cuffs, guaranteeing tightness even in the case of minor irregularities; and a stainless steel expansion wedge, which, after being seated in the pipe, ensures a firm pressure of the sleeve against the inner wall. Several annularly seated sealing ribs further reinforce the connection. The whole is completed by a flexible VPC® coupling, which allows adaptation to different outer diameters of pipes – in this case, the range of the VPC 485 coupling allows for flexible adjustment.

The application of the adapter is wide – it is ideal for repairs, modernizations, and new sewage installations.
