This adapter is a comprehensive solution for connecting pipes with non-circular outer geometries to pipes with standard dimensions. It consists of a precisely manufactured inner sleeve made of stainless steel, a flexible sealing cuff made of EPDM, and a spreading wedge, also made of stainless steel. This design ensures a reliable and tight connection, regardless of the pipe material.

The adapter works with the VPC® flexible connector, which expands its range of applications and allows adaptation to different outer pipe diameters. The kit includes everything needed for proper installation – the BI adapter and the dedicated VPC® connector. This makes installation quick and easy, and the connection durable and safe.

Construction and application

The key to the adapter's operation is the way it is mounted. After being seated in the pipe, the sleeve surrounded by the EPDM cuff is expanded using the wedge. Several circumferentially arranged sealing ribs guarantee a complete seal. The VPC® connector attached to the other end of the adapter provides flexibility and compensates for differences in pipe diameters, provided that the outer diameter of the connected pipe is within the permissible range for the given VPC® connector.
