Flexible connection of different materials and diameters

The Funke VPC® flexible connector is a reliable solution for connecting sewer pipes made of various materials – cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, GRP and others. It allows connection of pipes with different geometries (smooth, corrugated or ribbed) and different outer diameters, eliminating the need for additional adapters in many cases. Particularly useful when connecting a round concrete pipe DN600 with a plastic pipe DN/OD600.

The connector consists of an elastomeric sealing sleeve, a positioning basket made of plastic and two steel alloy straps. This construction ensures bilateral, separate and smooth diameter adjustment, as well as a stable and secure connection. The sealing sleeve made of EPDM rubber (according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60) has a double sealing profile guaranteeing tightness according to PN-EN 1610.

Construction and installation – for professionals and end users

The positioning basket made of durable plastic ensures centric alignment of the connected elements. Its conical central part and strap guide grooves allow for precise diameter adjustment without the need for additional alignment rings. The steel alloy straps, when tightened, adapt the sleeve to different outer pipe diameters. This ensures that the diameter reduction process takes place evenly around the entire circumference, and the risk of wrinkling the rubber is minimized.

Installation is easy and quick – it does not require specialized tools other than a wrench for tensioners (depending on the size). The VPC® connector is characterized by a compact design and high stability, which translates into reliable operation for a long time.
