Universal connector for drainage pipes made of various materials

The Funke VPC® flexible connector is a reliable solution for connecting drainage pipes made of different materials – cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, GRP and others. It allows connection of pipes with different outer diameters, eliminating the need for additional adapters. It ensures a tight and durable connection in demanding conditions.

Design and application

The connector consists of an elastomeric sealing sleeve, a positioning basket made of plastic and two steel alloy straps. The sleeve is made of ethylene propylene rubber (EPDM) according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60 standard and has a double sealing profile guaranteeing reliability (PN-EN 1610). The positioning basket, resistant to low and high temperatures, ensures centric alignment of the connected elements. Steel alloy straps allow precise adjustment of the pipe diameter. The oil-resistant version is made of V4A (1.4404) stainless steel, which ensures resistance to oils, gasoline and aggressive chemicals contained in wastewater and soil.
