Buffer tank for efficient heating with a heat pump

This SG(B) buffer tank with a capacity of 800 liters is a key element of a heating installation with a heat pump. Its task is to store the heat generated by the pump and then efficiently use it to power the central heating system. This makes it possible to reduce heating costs and ensure a stable temperature in the house. This solution works particularly well in installations where the heat pump cooperates with an additional heat source.

Construction and application

The tank is made of durable carbon steel, which guarantees its reliability and long service life. It is equipped with two spiral heat exchangers with areas of 7.5 m² and 2 m², which provide high heat exchange efficiency. The larger heat exchanger (7.5 m²) is ideal for cooperation with a heat pump, and the smaller one (2 m²) can be used to connect an additional heat source, e.g., a gas or electric boiler. Neodul insulation minimizes heat loss, maintaining a high water temperature in the tank for a long time and improving the energy efficiency of the entire system. Connections with diameters of Gw 6/4" (boiler water) and Gw 2" (heat exchangers) facilitate installation and integration with the existing installation. Additionally, the tank has a socket for a sensor cover with a diameter of Ø 1/2".
