This vertical, wall-mounted DHW heat exchanger from GALMET's Vulcan Kombi series with a capacity of 120 liters is a versatile solution for both installers and users. Designed to work with various types of boilers – oil, gas, coal, or fireplaces – it offers flexibility in choosing a heat source. The option of equipping it with an electric heating element expands the range of applications, allowing water to be heated independently of central heating.

Construction and performance

The heart of the heat exchanger is a spiral coil with a large surface area, ensuring efficient heat exchange and rapid water heating. Insulation made of polyurethane foam minimizes heat loss, which translates into energy savings and user comfort. Compact dimensions (especially the wall-mounted version) make installation easier even in limited spaces – a width of only 45.5 cm allows for installation in recesses. All hydraulic connections are located on one flange, which greatly simplifies the installation and subsequent servicing process.

Durability and protection

The heat exchanger is protected against corrosion by a ceramic enamel “EXTRA GLASS®” applied by the wet method, guaranteeing durability and hygienic use for years to come. Additional protection is provided by a magnesium (or optionally titanium) anode, which protects the tank and electric heating element from corrosion.
