Heat pump water heater – efficient domestic hot water heating

This vertical, freestanding DHW heat exchanger from Galmet’s SGW(S) Maxi series with a capacity of 300 liters is an ideal solution for heating systems with a heat pump. Equipped with a large, spiral coil with a surface area of 3.6 m², it provides efficient heating and storage of domestic hot water. The design is intended for cooperation with various types of boilers, offering installation flexibility.

Construction and insulation for maximum efficiency

The tank is made of steel and coated with EXTRA GLASS ceramic enamel, which guarantees high corrosion resistance and long-term operation. Additional protection is provided by the presence of two magnesium anodes, which protect against corrosion by dissolving and sealing microcracks. Insulation made of high-density rigid polyurethane foam minimizes heat loss, resulting in lower operating costs and user comfort. A gray skay cover provides an aesthetic appearance of the device.

Easy installation and servicing

The SGW(S) Maxi heat exchanger offers wide connection possibilities: threaded coil connections (Gw 5/4”), hot and cold water (Gw 1”), circulation socket (Gw 3/4”) and sensor cover (3/8”). The possibility of mounting an additional heat source in the form of an electric set on a Ø 180 flange or a 6/4” plug increases the functionality of the device. Regular replacement of the magnesium anode (every 18 months) and checking its condition (every 12 months) ensure long-term and trouble-free operation of the heat exchanger – this is confirmed by the manufacturer's 60-month warranty. The dimensions of the device are 1615 mm in height, 670 mm in width and 670 mm in depth.
