This SGW(S)B Tower Biwal 200L DHW heat exchanger is a versatile solution for preparing domestic hot water, combining the efficiency of cooperation with a central heating boiler and the possibility of connecting a solar installation. The design with two spiral coils provides a large heat exchange surface, which translates into fast and efficient water heating. The tank is enameled, which guarantees corrosion resistance and long life, and the polyurethane foam (Neodul) insulation minimizes heat loss.

Construction and application

The SGW(S)B Tower Biwal 200L heat exchanger has been designed with reliability and durability in mind. Made of steel, coated with high-quality EXTRA GLASS® ceramic enamel and equipped with a magnesium anode, it provides effective protection against corrosion. Two spiral coils with a large surface area allow for efficient use of heat from both the central heating boiler and the solar installation – hence the name “bivalent”. The housing made of skay provides an aesthetic appearance and additional protection against external factors.

Operating parameters and installation

The SGW(S)B Tower Biwal 200L heat exchanger is designed to work with various heating systems, both traditional central heating boilers and modern solar installations. Installation should be carried out by a qualified installer in accordance with the manufacturer's operating instructions (available on the Galmet website). Pay attention to the correct connection to the water and electrical installations (in the case of a version with an electric heater). Regular inspection of the magnesium anode condition and its replacement if necessary will ensure long-term and trouble-free operation of the device. The tank has connections allowing easy connection to the existing DHW installation.
