Gas detection alarm module – reliable installation safety

The MD-4.A alarm module is a key element of gas detection systems, designed to work with GAZEX dual-threshold detectors of the DEX/F, DG/F and DG.EN types. The device provides control and power to up to four sensors, making it an ideal solution for both installers and end-users who care about safety. The module is used in the Dual-Threshold Gas Detection System and the GX Gas Installation Safety System (ASBIG).

Functionality and application

MD-4.A enables comprehensive control of gas detector operation. In addition to powering and monitoring the status of sensors, the module offers control of external optical and acoustic signaling devices, as well as cooperation with other devices via relay outputs. The ability to connect to a signaling-cutoff system, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure, guarantees compliance with stringent safety standards. Therefore, MD-4.A not only informs about a threat but can also automatically cut off the gas supply in the event of a dangerous concentration being detected.
