Check valve for safely shutting off gas supply

This check valve, with a diameter of DN100, is a safety element in a gas installation system. Its design allows for automatic and quick shut-off of natural gas or propane-butane supply in the event of an explosion hazard. It is suitable for both domestic and industrial installations, as well as in gas metering and regulation stations. A version for biogas from landfills or sewage treatment plants is also available.

The valve is characterized by energy efficiency – it does not require power in the open and closed positions. To close the valve, a short 12V= electrical pulse or pressing the button on the housing is sufficient. Immunity to power failure is an additional advantage, guaranteeing the continuity of the system even in the event of a power failure. The valve design ensures resistance to accidental opening, and its operation is simple and does not require much force.

Construction and application

The MAG-3/DN100 check valve is designed for mounting in systems protecting gas installations, such as gas boiler rooms or public buildings. It can also be used in cogeneration systems and external gas metering and regulation stations (at a working pressure of up to 0.5 MPa). Thanks to the possibility of working in potentially explosive atmospheres (compliance with the ATEX Directive), this valve finds application in a wide range of industrial facilities. The set includes: opening key, two steel counter flanges, gaskets and a set of screws, washers and nuts – everything needed for correct installation.
