Electronic urinal flush valve – comfort and water saving

This Geberit Type 50 surface-mounted flush valve is a modern solution for urinals, combining user comfort with efficient water management. Powered by 230V, it offers reliable operation and wide configuration possibilities for both installers and end-users. Thanks to the integrated power supply and LED indicator, installation and operation are extremely simple.

Functionality and control

The valve is equipped with advanced control functions, including remote programming via the Geberit Control app through the Bluetooth® interface. This allows you to adjust flushing parameters to individual needs and usage conditions. The ability to adjust the flushing time and the frequency of the flushing cycle (from 1 to 168 hours) translates into real water savings. Additionally, dynamic adjustment of the flushing time and hybrid mode allow for optimizing water consumption depending on the intensity of use.

The valve also has an automatic flushing cycle function, which prevents the formation of unpleasant odors and maintains hygiene in the room. The built-in brightness sensor deactivates the valve after the urinal is removed, which further increases safety and minimizes the risk of uncontrolled operation. In the event of a power outage, the valve maintains the closing function, and restarting after resuming power ensures a single flush – this guarantees hygiene even in emergency situations.

Solid construction and safety

The valve is characterized by a high degree of protection IPX4, which ensures resistance to splashing water. The construction has been designed with durability and resistance to vandalism in mind. The power connection is made using an external thread of 1/2 inch size, and the connection voltage is 230V. The ability to connect to BMS (Building Management System) allows integration of the valve with intelligent building management systems. The initial operating pressure is in the range of 1 to 8 bar, and the maximum flow rate at a pressure of 300 kPa is 0.23 l/s. The activation time can be set in the range of 1 to 15 seconds.
