Linear drain for showers – effective water drainage

This Geberit linear drain with a nominal diameter of DN50 is a reliable solution for draining water in showers and other wet rooms. Designed for easy installation and durability, it is suitable for both new installations and renovations. Its construction allows for use in systems with a waterproof underfloor system.

Construction and installation

The drain is characterized by a vertical outflow direction and a connection using a push-fit end piece with a diameter of 50 mm. The total height of 340 mm provides adequate drain depth. A key element is the factory-mounted sealing fleece with a width of 10 cm, which facilitates connection with the waterproofing and guarantees tightness. An extended sealing flange further increases the safety of the connection.

Made of high-quality plastic (inlet) and stainless steel 304 (1.4301) (grating), the drain is resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage. The absence of a grating in the set provides flexibility in choosing the appropriate model, adapted to the aesthetics of the bathroom. The raw surface of the grating allows for color matching with the surroundings.
