Silent-PP Drainage Bend – Quiet and Reliable Installation

This 45-degree Silent-PP bend is a key element of an internal drainage system, designed to reduce the noise of flowing media. Made of polypropylene (PP-MD), it is characterized by high durability and corrosion resistance, guaranteeing long-term use. The use of EPDM seals ensures the tightness of connections, eliminating the risk of leaks.

This bend connects pipes with diameters of 90 mm and 50 mm, enabling efficient wastewater drainage in residential and commercial buildings. Its design allows for the connection of additional installation elements, such as drains from sinks, showers or bathtubs. The black color of the bend provides an aesthetic look of the installation.

Construction and assembly

The Silent-PP bend has push-fit connections, which simplifies and speeds up installation. It does not require additional tools besides proper pipe preparation – cleaning and possibly heating to facilitate connection. The wall thickness of the connections (3.1 mm for DN90 and 2 mm for DN50) ensures the stability and strength of the structure. The working lengths of the connections are 6 mm, 91 mm and 84 mm respectively, which affects the precision of assembly and the tightness of the connections.

It is worth remembering that the Silent-PP system is dedicated to internal installations and should not be used in external pipelines or under pressure. PP-MD material is characterized by high chemical resistance, allowing for the safe discharge of various types of domestic wastewater. EPDM seals provide flexibility and adaptation to uneven pipe surfaces, minimizing the risk of leakage.
