Angle valve – reliable flow shut-off

The angle valve from GEBO, model 1501, is a solid and functional solution for precise shut-off of water flow in water supply installations. This angular valve with a 1 inch (DN25) internal thread is ideal for both domestic and professional installations.

Construction and characteristic features

A key feature of this valve is a non-rising stem. This means that the handle remains in the same position regardless of the degree of opening or closing of the valve. This solution significantly simplifies operation, especially in places with limited space – e.g. near a wall. The design with a drain hole and two revision holes allows for easy maintenance and diagnostics. The valve is characterized by smooth operation and high tightness.

Application and operating parameters

The GEBO BV150125 angle valve is used in:

• Water supply installations in residential and public buildings

• Heating systems (up to 90°C)

• Protection of the water supply network against backflow

• Water intake points requiring frequent shut-off of the supply

The valve operates at a working pressure of PN 16 and has internal cylindrical BSPT-Rp threads compliant with ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1. This ensures stability and reliability in various operating conditions. Installation should be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, ensuring the correct flow direction of the medium – indicated on the valve body. In horizontal pipelines, the stem should be directed upwards, and in vertical pipelines – the flow direction from bottom to top.
