Universal connector for steel and PE pipes

The Gebo Quick QO 20x20 clamping connector is a versatile solution for connecting water pipelines, both during the construction of new installations and the expansion of existing ones. It is designed to work with various materials – steel, black steel and polyethylene (PE) – eliminating the need for welding or threading. This saves time and costs, especially on construction sites.

Construction and operating principle

The QO connector utilizes a mechanism of steel clamping rings, which, in combination with a NBR rubber sealing ring, ensure a secure and tight connection. This system allows for quick installation without specialized tools. The split clamping ring enables mounting on pipelines laid parallel or perpendicular to each other. Made of ductile iron EN-GJMB-350-10 and galvanized steel, it guarantees durability and corrosion resistance. This makes it suitable for demanding installation conditions.

Application and benefits

The Gebo Quick QO connector is used in water installations intended for drinking water (has a hygiene certificate from the State Hygiene Institute B-BK-60210-1123/19) and compressed air. It can be used with steel pipes with a diameter of 20 mm and PE pipes with a diameter of 20 mm. High resistance to temperature (up to 80°C for heating water) and pressure (up to 10 bar) ensures reliable operation for a long time. Installation is simple and quick, which translates into saving the installer's time. Additionally, the versatility of the connector allows for flexible adaptation to different installation configurations.
