Characteristics and application

This is a 90° elbow with a BSPT-R external thread on one end and a BSPT-Rc internal thread on the other, with a nominal diameter of 1 inch (25 mm). The screw-and-nut design simplifies assembly and disassembly, which is particularly useful when servicing installations. Thanks to the use of stainless steel 316L, the elbow is characterized by exceptional corrosion resistance, resistance to chemical substances and high temperature – up to 220°C. It can be used in water installations, including water intended for consumption, as well as in systems transporting various chemical media. The maximum working pressure is approximately 10.5 bar (150 lbs).
