90° stainless steel threaded elbow 2" screwed-on 6092-200
Product features
- High quality
- Durable and reliable connections in installations.
Elbow fitting made of stainless steel 90° is a connecting element for pipes, providing a change in the installation direction at a right angle. Made of high-quality stainless steel 316L, it guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term operation even in harsh conditions. It is an ideal solution for both professional installers and demanding end-users who value solidity and reliability.
Construction and materials
The fitting is characterized by a tapered BSPT-R external thread and a tapered BSPT-Rc internal thread with a nominal diameter of 2 inches (50 mm). Both ends are made of stainless steel 316L (1.4404), which ensures high chemical and mechanical resistance. The use of this grade of steel allows the elbow to be used in water installations, including those intended for drinking water, as well as in systems transporting chemicals. In addition, stainless steel 316L is resistant to the action of most acids, making it ideal for industrial applications.
Application and benefits
The elbow finds wide application in various industries:
- Water and heating installations: Provides durable and tight connections in central heating, hot and cold water systems.
- Food industry: Thanks to the use of stainless steel approved for contact with drinking water, it is ideal for installations in food processing plants.
- Chemical industry: Resistance to corrosive substances allows the elbow to be used in installations transporting chemicals.
- Industrial installations: Robust construction guarantees reliability in demanding working conditions.
It is worth paying attention to the markings of fittings by Gebo – “g316” or “g6” – which confirms the use of high-quality stainless steel. The maximum operating temperature is 220°C, and the maximum pressure is approximately 10.5 bar (150 lbs), which ensures safe use. The elbow is also an alternative to traditional brass fittings, offering significantly higher resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage.
