Robust and reliable threaded double coupling made of stainless steel

This threaded double coupling, made of high-quality stainless steel 316L (1.4404), is a key element in installations requiring corrosion resistance and durability. Its design, based on a flat gasket, ensures a tight connection and easy installation. It is ideal for water systems, especially those intended for drinking water, as well as in chemical installations where high resistance to aggressive substances is required.

Strength and material compatibility

The coupling is designed to connect stainless steel pipes with a nominal diameter of 1 inch (25 mm). Made entirely of stainless steel 316L, it guarantees material compatibility and eliminates the risk of galvanic corrosion. It can be successfully used as a replacement for traditional brass fittings, offering significantly higher resistance to external factors. The BSPT-Rc internal thread (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) ensures versatility and the ability to connect to various types of threaded installation elements.

Operating parameters and safety

The double coupling is characterized by high temperature resistance – up to 220°C – and pressure – up to 150 lbs (approx. 10.5 bar). The marking "g316" or "g6" on the housing confirms the use of high-grade stainless steel. This allows it to be used in demanding working conditions, exposed to corrosive substances (acids) and corrosion. The use of AISI 316L stainless steel ensures long-term and trouble-free operation of the installation.
