Innovative solution for wastewater and rainwater drainage
The GRAF infiltration tunnel with a capacity of 300 liters is an effective and durable solution for infiltration systems of treated wastewater from domestic wastewater treatment plants and rainwater. Its design allows for optimal use of space, and its durability enables installation under used surfaces, including under vehicular traffic. This is an ideal choice for both installers looking for a reliable component and end-users wanting an ecological solution for water drainage.
Construction and advantages
The infiltration chamber is made of durable plastic using modern injection technology. Additional ribbing strengthens the structure of the side walls and vault, providing high resistance to loads. Transverse slots in the side walls and a perforated surface enable optimal flow and effective wastewater infiltration. This ensures effective biological purification through cooperation with the backfill and aerobic bacteria.
- High strength: The tunnel can withstand a load of up to 60 tons, allowing installation under used surfaces such as driveways or roads.
- Large capacity: A capacity of 300 liters minimizes the frequency of emptying or maintaining the infiltration system.
- Easy installation: Low weight (11 kg) facilitates transport and installation, and the ability to connect tunnels in series allows the system to be adapted to individual needs.
- Ecological solution: Effectively infiltrates treated wastewater and rainwater, supporting environmental protection.
- Space saving: The ability to stack tunnels on top of each other and store them in stacks saves space during transport and storage.
- Versatility: Suitable for use in wastewater infiltration systems from treatment plants, as well as for rainwater drainage.
Application and installation
GRAF infiltration tunnels are used in drainage systems in unsewered areas. The system consists of one or more tunnels connected in series, terminated with a lid (available separately). Installation should be carried out in accordance with the executive design, taking into account the depth of foundation, groundwater level and soil type. It is also important to maintain appropriate distances from wells, property boundaries and trees. Remember to protect the excavation with geotextile and properly compact the backfill – crushed stone 20/40 and native soil – to ensure the stability of the structure and proper functioning of the infiltration system.
