Adjustable supports for internal fire hydrants – stability and mounting precision

This set of two adjustable supports is a reliable solution for mounting internal fire hydrants. They allow for stable and secure mounting of the hydrant, as well as precise adjustment of its height to meet the required standards. The supports are particularly useful in situations where the wall cannot support the weight of the hydrant, e.g. in the case of plasterboard walls, or when direct mounting to the wall is not possible.

Features and application

These supports are characterized by a wide range of height adjustment – from 510 mm to 920 mm. This allows for perfect adjustment of the hydrant valve height to the standard value of 1350 mm ± 100 mm from the floor level. They are universal and compatible with most types of GRAS hydrants. The use of supports is crucial when the dimension between the axis of the valve handle and the bottom of the hydrant cabinet is in the range of 330 mm to 940 mm.

Construction and durability

The supports are made of electrolytically galvanized DC01 steel, which ensures high corrosion resistance. Additional anti-corrosion protection in the form of iron phosphating and a powder coating with polyester powder paint (thickness approx. 80 μm) guarantees long-term protection against external factors and UV radiation. The set includes all necessary mounting elements: M6x16 screws, ø6 washers and M6 nuts. The red RAL 3000 finish provides good visibility and an aesthetic appearance.
