Internal fire hydrants – reliable fire protection

Internal hydrant DN25 is a key element of building equipment providing quick access to water in the event of a fire. Model HW-25N-30 SLIM II 180, manufactured by GRAS, combines functionality, durability and aesthetics. Designed for both surface and recessed installation (using optional masking frames), it is an effective solution for public buildings, industrial halls and multi-family buildings.

Construction and application

The hydrant cabinet is made of DC01 steel with a thickness of 1.0 mm, which guarantees its strength and resistance to mechanical damage. Anti-corrosion protection in the form of iron phosphating and a powder coating with polyester paint (min. 80 μm) provides long-term protection against corrosion, even in harsh environmental conditions. The red color RAL3000 increases the visibility of the hydrant and makes it easier to locate in case of need.

Inside the cabinet there is a semi-rigid hose with a length of 30 meters and a PW-25 nozzle compliant with EN 671-1 standard. A 180° tilting reel with a water axis allows for efficient unwinding of the hose under pressure to the desired length. The hydrant has six possibilities of water supply connection – from the side, from the back and from the top of the body (right and left side), which facilitates installation and integration with the existing installation.
