Intelligent bath comfort control with Grohtherm SmartControl

The Grohtherm SmartControl thermostat is synonymous with precision, comfort and modern design. Designed for concealed mounting, it allows operation of up to three independent water outlets – an ideal solution for bathrooms with a bathtub, shower and rain shower. Thanks to the intuitive SmartControl system, it remembers your favorite temperature and flow settings, providing unparalleled comfort.

Technology and functionality at the highest level

At the heart of the battery is the GROHE TurboStat thermostat head, which reacts to changes in water pressure in fractions of a second, guaranteeing a stable temperature even when using multiple points simultaneously. The GROHE EcoJoy technology used allows you to save water without compromising on comfort. The GROHE SafeStop safety lock protects against accidental scalding, and the optional GROHE SafeStop Plus temperature limiter (43°C / 46°C) increases safety, especially in homes with children or the elderly. Built-in check valves and strainers protect the installation from contamination.

Construction and installation

The battery requires the use of the GROHE Rapido SmartBox concealed element (ordered separately – 35 600 000/35 604 000). The metal wall rosette with the GROHE FastFixation system ensures quick and easy installation and aesthetic finishing. The rosette adjustment of 6° allows adaptation to wall irregularities. The brushed warm sunset finish gives the bathroom an elegant and modern character. The SmartControl switch allows smooth flow regulation – from a gentle EcoJoy stream to a full Full Flow flow. Exchangeable symbols (bathtub, shower, rain shower, nozzles) allow you to personalize the battery according to individual needs.

The battery provides a flow rate of 23 l/min for outlet A, 27 l/min for outlet B and 23 l/min for outlet C. When using outlets A and B simultaneously, the flow rate is 33 l/min, and when using all three outlets fully – 36 l/min (at a pressure of 300 kPa). The maximum flow temperature is 70 °C, and the battery has a backflow protection in accordance with EN 1717 standard (class EB) and flow class D. The battery construction also includes a distributor for three independent water outlets.
