Thermostatic mixer for a comfortable bath and shower

The Grohtherm SmartControl thermostatic mixer combines modern design, precise temperature control and ease of use. Designed to operate two water outlets, it allows simultaneous use of different sources – a bathtub and a shower – without the need to manually mix water. Integrated connection and shower holder facilitate installation and provide an aesthetic look of the bathroom.

Technology and functionality for demanding users

The heart of the mixer is the GROHE TurboStat thermostatic head, which reacts to changes in installation pressure in just 0.3 seconds, guaranteeing a constant water temperature. The SafeStop function prevents accidental scalding by blocking the temperature at 38°C (optionally 43°C or 46°C). The SmartControl switch allows intuitive flow control – from economical EcoJoy to full Full Flow. Built-in check valves and strainers protect the installation from impurities. Flow class C ensures optimal water consumption.

Installation and compatibility

The mixer is designed for concealed mounting and requires the use of a GROHE Rapido SmartBox concealed element (ordered separately). The metal wall rosette with the GROHE QuickFix system facilitates installation and provides an aesthetic finish. The possibility of adjustment by 6° allows adaptation to the existing installation. An extension set is available separately, which increases the flexibility of the configuration. The mixer has an integrated shower bend with a ½ inch outlet. The material of the surface element is brass covered with chrome, which guarantees durability and corrosion resistance.

For installers:

• For proper operation of the mixer, the GROHE Rapido SmartBox concealed element (cat. no. 35600000) is required, available for separate order.
• Adjustment of the mixer position by 6° facilitates adaptation to the existing installation.
• The GROHE QuickFix system ensures quick and trouble-free installation of the wall rosette.
• The flow rate is: 24 l/min for outlet B, 12 l/min for the shower head and 27 l/min when using both outlets simultaneously.
• Backflow protection in accordance with EN 1717 standard (class EB) ensures the safety of the hydraulic installation.
