This three-inch Grundfos SQ 2-55 submersible pump with a power of 0.7 kW is a solid solution for supplying water to single-family homes, as well as for pumping water to tanks and irrigation systems. The design based on multi-stage impellers ensures efficient pumping, and the materials used guarantee a long service life even in difficult conditions.

Construction and application

The pump is designed to operate in wells or boreholes with a minimum diameter of 76 mm. Made of high-quality stainless steel (grade 304 – 1.4301) it provides corrosion resistance and long-term use. The built-in check valve prevents water from flowing back after the pump is switched off, which facilitates restarting and protects the installation. The length of the power cable is 1.5 meters, and the IP68 degree of protection guarantees complete sealing and the possibility of immersing the pump in water.

Performance and safety

The single-phase motor with permanent magnet rotor is characterized by high efficiency over a wide range of loads. The motor electronics protect it from various problems, such as dry running, too low or high voltage, overload and overheating. The pump is adapted for continuous operation (S1 mode) and can operate in water temperature from 0 to 35°C. The maximum pump capacity is 2.6 m³/h, and the maximum working pressure is 15 bar. Additionally, the pump is adapted for pumping water containing sand – a maximum of 50 grams per cubic meter.
