The Grundfos SCALA1 3-45 booster pump is a fully integrated, self-priming unit designed to increase water pressure in single-family homes, small commercial buildings, and for garden irrigation. Thanks to its compact design and ease of installation, it is an ideal solution for users looking for a reliable and efficient water supply system. The unit is particularly useful where water needs to be drawn from a well (up to 8m deep) or where pressure needs to be boosted from the mains water supply.

Intelligent control and safety features

The SCALA1 stands out with its ability to communicate via Bluetooth with the Grundfos GO Remote app. This allows for remote pump start-up, monitoring of its operation, access to advanced functions, and receiving notifications of any failures. Built-in protections protect the unit against dry running (automatic pump stop in case of water shortage), frequent starting and stopping (with minor leaks), and overheating (maximum operating time). These features not only increase safety but also extend the pump's life and minimize maintenance costs.

The SCALA1 pump offers a performance of 3.59 m³/h and a maximum head of 44 m. The 910 W motor is water-cooled, ensuring quiet and reliable operation. The pump construction made of high-quality materials (housing and impeller made of composite) guarantees durability and corrosion resistance. The unit has inlet and outlet connections with a diameter of 1 inch (BSPT-R), which facilitates integration with the existing hydraulic installation. The maximum working pressure is 8 bar. Additionally, the pump has 0-10 V / 2-10 V and 0-20 mA / 4-20 mA interface signals and a PT100 / PT1000 / PTC interface enabling integration with building automation systems.
