The Grundfos SP 5A-12MS402B submersible pump is a robust solution for drawing water from wells, both in domestic applications and irrigation systems. Made of high-quality stainless steel, it guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation even in harsh conditions. Designed for immersion, it effectively lifts water from depth, providing stable pressure in the installation.

Construction and application

This three-phase pump with a power of 1.1 kW is designed for pumping clean water from wells with a minimum diameter of 105 mm. Equipped with an MS402 motor with a sand filter, it protects against damage caused by small impurities. The built-in check valve prevents water from flowing back after the pump is switched off, which facilitates restarting and reduces the risk of water hammer. The pump is suitable for installation both vertically and horizontally, providing flexibility during assembly. Thanks to the use of corrosion-resistant materials (stainless steel 304), it can be used even in an aggressive environment.

Performance and operating parameters

The SP 5A-12MS402B pump offers a maximum efficiency of 6.5 m³/h and a maximum head of almost 80 meters. The motor speed is 2900 revolutions per minute, and the supply voltage is 380-415 V at a frequency of 50 Hz. The pump's rated current is 3.25 A. The IP68 degree of protection ensures complete sealing and resistance to immersion in water. The length of the power cable is 1.7 meters, which facilitates connection to the electrical installation. The maximum sand content in the pumped water can be up to 50 g/m³, which increases its resistance to mechanical damage.
