The Grundfos SQ 2-70 submersible pump is a versatile device, ideal for both domestic and small industrial installations. Designed for mounting in openings with a diameter of 76 mm, it stands out with its compact design and ease of installation. It is a solid solution for ensuring continuous access to groundwater, liquid transport, or pressure boosting.

Construction and performance

Equipped with a 1.15 kW motor and powered by 230V, the SQ 2-70 pump offers a capacity of up to 2.6 m³/h. The C characteristic allows it to react more slowly to short current surges, making it well-suited for starting devices with a motor. Built-in electronics facilitate operation, and the stainless steel construction (grade 304 - 1.4301) ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The pump also has a built-in check valve that prevents water from flowing back after the device is switched off.

Safety and reliability

The SQ 2-70 pump has been designed with safety and reliability in mind. It has a dry-running protection that automatically shuts off the device in the event of a lack of water, protecting the motor from damage. Additionally, high hydraulic and motor efficiency minimizes energy consumption and operating costs. Insulation class F and protection degree IP68 guarantee safe operation even in harsh environmental conditions. A long power cable (1.5 m) provides flexibility during installation. The maximum sand content in the pumped water can be up to 50 g/m³, which increases its resistance to mechanical damage.
