Blanking plug instead of OAC module – solution for existing installations

The HWX190H blanking plug is used to close the empty space in the enclosure after the OAC module (Ochrona Przeciwprądowa) has been removed. It is not an active component – it contains no measurement or protective functions. Its sole function: fill the gap, to maintain the aesthetics and integrity of the enclosure.

In practice: when you replace an older OAC module with a modern protection system (e.g., an RCCB with overload function) and no longer need a physical space for the OAC, the blanking plug prevents an open, unsightly opening in the panel. It is a simple but key addition during upgrades.

• No installation required – it is manually inserted into the empty space.
• Functions only as a physical barrier – it has no contacts, does not conduct electricity.
• Compatible with the HW series enclosures from HAGER.
• Used exclusively when the OAC module has been completely removed from the installation.

It does not replace anything else. It does not substitute the protective function. It does not operate as a switch. It has no electrical parameters – because there is nothing to measure.
