Orion Plus Distribution Box – Reliable Protection and Flexible Mounting

The Orion Plus enclosure is a robust solution for building electrical distribution boards, both in automation applications and power distribution. Made of high-quality fiberglass-reinforced polyester, it provides durability and resistance to external factors, including UV radiation. The design is adapted for surface mounting, and the ability to easily change the direction of door opening (from left to right) increases installation flexibility. Protection class II guarantees safe use.

Construction and User Features

The Orion Plus enclosure combines functionality and ease of installation. Equipped with four special mounting brackets, it facilitates quick and secure mounting to the wall. Removable top and bottom plates provide more space for cable routing and make it easier to drill holes for cable glands. The internal structure allows for easy installation of +C/+S system components using snap-in fasteners. Rear embossed covers allow for precise cutting of holes for additional elements. Additionally, the enclosure has cable routing clips, which ensure organized wiring, and PZ2 fixing screws – enabling quick and solid mounting with a screwdriver. Mounting plates can be inserted in three ways: from the front, from the top or from the bottom, increasing adaptability to different needs.

Technical Parameters and Safety

The Orion Plus enclosure is characterized by a high degree of protection IP66, which guarantees tightness against dust and water jets – an ideal solution for both indoor and outdoor use (in covered areas). Impact resistance IK10 provides protection against mechanical damage. The lock built into the door increases the security of access to the inside of the enclosure. The enclosure is designed to operate with a rated current of up to 630A and has 4 rows of modular equipment (72 modules), and its width corresponds to 18 modules. Wall thickness is 2 mm, which ensures adequate mechanical strength. The material of construction – fiberglass reinforced polyester – is resistant to corrosion and chemical damage. The color of the enclosure is light gray RAL 7035.
