This single-pole overcurrent switch from Hager, with a rated current of 25A and a short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA, is a reliable protection for your electrical circuits. Designed for both professional installers and end-users, it combines high protection efficiency with ease and speed of installation. It is characterized by a B characteristic, which means it is ideal for protecting circuits with devices with moderate inrush current.

Design and functionality

The MBS125 switch is distinguished by its compact design – it occupies only one module width. Its housing with dimensions of 83.4 x 17.5 x 70 mm provides solid protection for internal components. Made of high-quality materials, it guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation in the temperature range from -25°C to 70°C. The IP20 degree of protection provides protection against finger contact and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.

QuickConnect system – a revolution in mounting

A key feature of this switch is the QuickConnect system. It allows for quick connection of wires without the need for a screwdriver – just insert the wire into the clamp. This not only saves time but also increases the safety of the connection thanks to the constant spring pressure. This system supports solid wires with a cross-section from 1 to 35 mm² and stranded wires from 1 to 25 mm². An additional rear BiConnect clamp with screw fixing provides additional protection against incorrect wiring.

Application and compliance with standards

This switch is used in electrical installations of residential and commercial buildings, providing effective protection against overloads and short circuits. It meets the requirements of PN-EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards, which confirms its high quality and reliability. The energy limitation class is 3, and the surge category is III – which means it is adapted to work in conditions of interference surges. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V and the rated impulse voltage Uimp is as high as 4kV.
