Three-pole circuit breaker, MBS306 series, with a rated current of 6A and B characteristic, is a reliable protection for electrical installations. Designed for both professional installers and end-users, it combines functionality, safety and ease of installation. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 6 kA at 230V AC and 6 kA at 400V AC (according to PN-EN 60898-1), and Icu is 10 kA at 400V (according to IEC 60947-2).

Features and application

This circuit breaker is designed to protect electrical circuits against overload and short circuit. Its compact dimensions (83.4 x 52.5 x 70 mm) and width of 3 modules allow for efficient use of space in the distribution board. Energy limitation class 3 and surge category III provide adequate protection in various operating conditions. Designed for flush mounting, it is ideal for residential and commercial installations. Suitable for operation in ambient temperature from -25°C to 70°C.

QuickConnect technology – saving time and ensuring safety

The circuit breaker is equipped with a QuickConnect connection system, which significantly speeds up installation. Instead of traditional screw connection of wires, they can simply be plugged in, saving time and minimizing the risk of errors. The BiConnect system on the back of the breaker provides additional protection against incorrect wiring. The front BiConnect QuickConnect plug-in system allows for quick and safe connection to the phase busbar. Additionally, the QuickSnap latch facilitates the removal of the breaker without the need to disconnect other elements. A transparent flap on the description fields protects the markings from damage.

Additional information on technical parameters: The breaker operates at a rated voltage of 400 V AC and a frequency of 50-60 Hz. It has a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 500 V and a rated impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) of 4 kV. It can be used with solid conductors with a cross-section from 1 to 35 mm² and stranded conductors from 1 to 25 mm². The degree of protection is IP20, it has three poles and the possibility of expansion with additional equipment.
