Mechanical lock for stationary switch

Protects the hw+ air switch in the OFF position — prevents accidental activation during service or maintenance work. This is a basic, physical lock that operates without power and requires no additional electronic components.

It can be used on stationary‑type switches (HW1, HW2, HW4), both 3‑ and 4‑pole. Installation is simple: one screw is enough to attach the lock to the dedicated spot on the switch housing — no need to dismantle any parts or interfere with the control circuit.

Works together with an OLK‑type key, which allows locking and unlocking the “off” position. This solution is ideal for installers who must ensure safe work in switchgear cabinets — e.g., when isolating circuits, performing inspections, or replacing components.

Note: this lock does not replace a LOCKOUT-TAGOUT system, but serves as its physical basis. It can be used alone or as part of a more advanced locking system — e.g., combined with up to three OLP‑type padlocks to lock several switches simultaneously.

No maintenance is required, it does not wear out under regular use and operates reliably from ‑25°C to 70°C — just like the entire hw+ system. It is made of corrosion‑resistant materials and intended for industrial environments.
