What is this plug?

It is not a regular plug – it is the connecting element between the HAGER HW1 air circuit breaker and its Sentinel trip unit. Without it the protection system cannot be connected to the circuit, as there is no other way to transmit the signal from the trip unit to the disconnect mechanism. It is an essential component, not an accessory.

Who is it for and what is it used for?

For the installer – it is a component that must be installed exactly as the instructions require. There is no room for compromise: if the plug does not fit, the trip unit will not operate and the entire circuit protection becomes invalid.
