Functionality and application

This Residual Current Device is designed to protect circuits with a rated voltage of 240V. Characteristic B provides fast tripping in case of overloads, which is particularly important for devices with high inrush current – for example, motors. At the same time, the presence of the N pole allows for full circuit protection, and the instantaneous tripping characteristic minimizes the duration of a short circuit. This is an ideal solution for both home and commercial installations.

Design and parameters

The device has been designed with durability and reliability in mind. Its housing with a protection degree of IP20 protects against contact and ensures safe use. It accepts wire cross-sections from 1 to 25 mm² (solid) and from 1 to 16 mm² (stranded), providing flexibility when choosing wires. Operation in a wide range of ambient temperatures (-25°C to +40°C) guarantees its reliability even in difficult conditions. Energy limitation class 3 indicates its ability to withstand short-circuit energy without damage. The rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is as high as 4kV, which further increases safety.
