Operating current trigger for overcurrent circuit breaker, 110-130V DC/230-415V AC MZ203
Working current release MZ203 is an element used for remote control of overcurrent circuit breakers, overload relays and cam switches. It allows to switch on the circuit by applying a pulse or continuous signal to the release coil. This is particularly useful in automation systems, remote control and applications requiring precise control over power supply.
Functionality and application
This release is compatible with both DC and AC voltage, which increases its versatility. The ability to work with different voltages – 110-130V DC and 230-415V AC – allows it to be used in a wide range of electrical installations. It is mainly used for:
- Remote switching on and off of electrical circuits.
- Integration with building management systems (BMS).
- Industrial process automation.
- Lighting and other electrical equipment control.
Technical characteristics and mounting
The release has screw connections, which ensures a solid and reliable connection with the wires. Its compact dimensions (83 mm high, 18 mm wide and 68 mm deep) allow for easy integration with existing installations. Designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -25°C to 60°C – which guarantees its reliability even in difficult environmental conditions. It should be remembered that the device is not intended for direct mounting on the circuit breaker, but works with it as a control element. The release power consumption is a maximum of 15 VA, which minimizes the impact on the overall energy balance of the installation. The response time to the control signal is 200 ms.
