Construction and application

The ESC125S contactor is designed to control lighting circuits, heating, ventilation and other resistive (AC-7a) and inductive (AC-7b) loads. Its compact design (1 module) allows for easy mounting on a DIN rail in a distribution box. The use of an NO (normally open) contact allows the circuit to be switched on and off using a 230VAC control signal. The quiet operation of the device minimizes noise disturbance, which is particularly important in living spaces.

The ESC125S contactor is characterised by a rated operating and control voltage of 230V AC, making it compatible with most standard electrical installations in Poland. The maximum switching capacity for incandescent bulbs is 1900W, and for fluorescent lamps - 950VA (or 1990VA with DUO compensation), allowing control of various light sources. The rated impulse voltage Uimp is 4000V, and the rated insulation voltage Ui is 250V, providing adequate protection against overvoltages and short circuits. The IP2X degree of protection protects against finger contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.
