Functionality and parameters

The SFT140 switch is characterized by a rated current of 40A and a voltage of 230V, making it suitable for most standard electrical installations. Single-pole design (1P) and the absence of normally open and normally closed contacts, but only one switching contact, simplifies the connection diagram. Short-circuit strength at 0.6kA provides protection in the event of a short circuit in the circuit. Compact dimensions – 1 module wide and 70mm deep – allow for efficient use of space in the distribution cabinet. IP20 protection rating guarantees basic protection against touching and ingress of solid objects.

Installation and application

This switch is used in electrical installations of residential, commercial and industrial buildings. It is ideal for switching lights, sockets or other electrical devices. Screw terminals allow for easy and secure connection of wires with a cross-section from 1.5 mm² to 16 mm².
