Functionality and application

The meter is designed to measure energy consumption and return in three-phase networks with a neutral wire. Thanks to a wide range of rated voltages (92…276 V N-L and 160…480 V L-L) and rated current of 5A, it can be used in various installations – from domestic to industrial. It has accuracy class B, which ensures precise measurement results. Equipped with an optical pulse output, it enables easy integration with monitoring and remote data reading systems. Modbus RS-485 communication allows the meter to be connected to building or industrial automation systems.

Construction and technical parameters

The ECA300C meter is characterized by a compact design – it occupies 4 modules on a DIN rail (width 72 mm, height 90 mm, depth 60 mm). The housing with a protection degree of IP20 provides protection against touching with fingers and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The device operates in a temperature range from -25°C to 55°C, which guarantees reliability in various environmental conditions. Power is supplied directly from the measured circuit (400V ± 20%). The meter has a code lock (false), but offers a meter anti-tamper (true). An important aspect is also its compliance with EN 50470-1 / 3 and IEC 62053-21 / 23 and IEC 61557-12 standards.
