Robust steel enclosure for protecting electrical installations

This durable steel enclosure from Hager, measuring 400x400x200 mm, is a reliable solution for protecting electrical components in demanding conditions. Made of high-quality steel with a thickness of 1.2 mm, it provides effective protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. The IP65 protection rating guarantees resistance to dust and water jets, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications – although it is not designed for direct mounting in open spaces.

The enclosure has a full steel door with a lock, which further increases security and prevents unauthorized access to the interior. The design allows for surface mounting and future expansion of the installation thanks to two cable entries and the possibility of mounting a flange plate (not included). This makes it a versatile solution for installers and end-users.

Functionality and durability in one

The FL108A enclosure has been designed with ease of installation and use in mind. Powder coating in RAL 7035 (light gray) provides a durable finish and corrosion resistance. The interior of the enclosure offers space for 48 modules or 16 wide modules, allowing for comfortable placement of devices. The IK10 impact resistance confirms its solidity and ability to withstand attempts at interference.

The use of high-strength mechanical steel (1.2 mm) in both the enclosure and the door guarantees long-term reliability even in difficult working conditions. Protection class I provides additional safety. The enclosure complies with safety standards and has a RoHS certificate, confirming the absence of harmful substances in its composition. The rated current of 250A allows it to be used in installations with higher loads.
