Drainage channel with cast iron grate
The RECYFIX STANDARD 150 type 0105 channel is a linear drainage system with a length of 500 mm and a channel width of 150 mm, designed for draining water from surfaces subject to moderate loads – e.g., sidewalks, parking areas, and building surroundings. The body is made of high-quality plastic featuring a ribbed structure that prevents deformation under load and ensures durability even under cyclic mechanical stresses.
The grates are made of cast iron, providing high resistance to abrasion and impact – particularly important for areas with passenger vehicle traffic. This model uses the GUGI MW 15/25 slotted grate, which allows effective water passage while blocking larger foreign objects. The black coating of the grate not only blends better with the surroundings but is also resistant to UV radiation and road salt.
The system is classified as C 250, meaning it can withstand loads typical for local roads and parking areas used by passenger cars. The channel height is 192 mm, providing sufficient space for drainage and easy installation into existing sewer systems. The design requires no specialized tools – installation is simple and compatible with most standard drainage systems.
An additional advantage is its frost and chemical resistance – the channel body material does not crack at low temperatures nor degrade under the influence of de-icing agents. This makes the channel suitable for use in the climatic conditions of Central and Eastern Europe.
Compared to models with plastic or galvanized grates, this model offers greater durability while maintaining ease of installation. It does not require additional ground reinforcement – its structural rigidity allows installation even on slightly unstable substrates.
