(N)YYO-J cable is a reliable solution for power installations, especially in demanding conditions. Its construction with seven 1.5 mm² cross-section conductors provides adequate capacity and flexibility. This cable is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, including laying in soil, water, and concrete.

Construction and characteristics

The (N)YYO-J cable features a robust construction designed for durability and safety. Copper conductors, manufactured according to DIN VDE 0295 cl. 1, BS 6360 cl. 1 and IEC 60228 cl. 1 standards, are insulated with PVC, providing good protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. Concentrically twisted conductors minimize electromagnetic interference. The entire cable is surrounded by a durable outer PVC coating in black.

The cable construction is designed to meet the requirements of outdoor and underground installations. The cable is resistant to oils and gasoline (according to DIN ISO 6722), making it an ideal choice for gas stations, refineries and other industrial facilities. Additionally, the PVC coating is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1), increasing safety.

Application and operating parameters

The (N)YYO-J cable is widely used in power installations and data transmission compliant with DIN VDE 0271. It can be used in both fixed and flexible installations – the operating temperature range is from -5°C to +50°C for flexible operation and from -30°C to +70°C for stationary operation. The maximum permissible operating temperature is +70°C, and the operating voltage U0/U is 0.6/1 kV. The test voltage is 4 kV.
