This specialized HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX® 109 cable is designed for use in demanding applications, particularly in energy chain systems and marine environments. It is characterized by high resistance to external factors, flexibility and durability, which translates to trouble-free operation of the installation. The cable is shielded, which minimizes electromagnetic interference and ensures stable signal transmission.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of high-quality materials, ensuring long-term operation. Copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² (AWG 14) are twisted in a way that ensures high flexibility, which is crucial in dynamic applications. The conductors are insulated with a material that meets high safety standards, and their identification is done using numbers. The screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires effectively protects against interference. The whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating in orange (RAL 2003), resistant to abrasion, oils and UV radiation. The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.
