Cable for chain guides – reliability in harsh conditions
This shielded chain cable HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX 340 is a solution designed for operation in demanding environments, especially where it is exposed to movement and mechanical stress. The cable is characterized by high resistance to external factors and ensures safe power transmission in industrial, marine and other demanding applications. Made of high-quality materials, it guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation.
Construction and parameters for professionals
The cable is characterized by a construction that provides flexibility and durability. It has 36 cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², made of unannealed copper, which ensures good electrical conductivity. The cores are twisted in pairs and then arranged in parallel, which minimizes the risk of damage during bending. The screen made of tinned copper wires (with the option of aluminum and foil) effectively protects against electromagnetic interference, ensuring a stable signal transmission. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation.
The cable meets UL Style 20234 standards and is available in gray (RAL 7001). The rated voltage is 1000 V, and the minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter. The cable is metered, which facilitates its installation and adaptation to specific needs.
Safety and compliance with standards
SHIPFLEX 340 has been designed with safety in mind. It is halogen-free (compliant with DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-1 / IEC 60754-1), which means that in the event of a fire, it releases a minimal amount of toxic gases. Additionally, the cable is oil-resistant (IEC 60092-350 Annex F) and maintains flexibility at low temperatures (down to -40°C according to IEC 60092-350 Annex E). It also meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
- Radiation resistance up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad).
- Flame retardancy according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1.
- Outer jacket material does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances hindering painting.
- Cable resistant to weather conditions, ozone and UV radiation.
