Cable for chain guides, 1000 V UL shipflex 340 18x2x0.25/AWG24 grey, halogen-free, shielded 19934
Highly durable cable for energy chains – reliability in harsh conditions
This shielded HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX® 340 cable is a specialized solution designed for demanding applications in energy chains, particularly in marine and industrial environments. Designed for high resistance to external factors, it provides safe and uninterrupted power supply in dynamic systems. Its construction and materials guarantee long-term operation even in extreme conditions.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction using high-quality materials. Copper strands, manufactured according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, are twisted into strands providing high flexibility. The core insulation is color-coded (according to DIN 47100), making identification easier during installation and servicing. The strands are twisted in pairs and then arranged in parallel, minimizing interference. Additionally, the cable has a screen of tinned copper wires (with the option of aluminum and foil), which provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a durable outer coating of polyurethane (UL std. 1581), resistant to oils, UV radiation and mechanical damage. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing and installation.
Safety and compliance with standards
This cable meets strict safety and quality standards. It is halogen-free (according to DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-1 / IEC 60754-1), which means it does not release toxic gases during combustion – important for the safety of installations and the health of users. It also has flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1) and maintains flexibility at low temperatures (down to -40°C according to IEC 60092-350). The cable is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Additionally, it is resistant to oils (IEC 60092-350) and atmospheric conditions.
