Chain guide cable – reliability in harsh conditions

This shielded chain cable HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX 340 is a solution designed for operation in demanding industrial environments, especially in applications with chain guides. It meets UL standards, guaranteeing high quality and safety. Its construction and materials provide resistance to mechanical, chemical and atmospheric factors.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that provides high flexibility and durability. It is made of stranded copper conductors, class 6, which means they are very flexible and resistant to material fatigue during repeated bending. The conductors are insulated with a special material and twisted in pairs, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. A screen made of tinned copper wires (with the option of aluminum and foil) provides effective protection against external interference. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation.

Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases. It also has a certificate of conformity with the Low Voltage Directive (CE).
