Cable for chain guides, 1000 V UL shipflex 340 6x2X0.25/AWG24 grey, halogen-free, shielded 19931

Robust cable for energy chains for use in harsh conditions

This shielded HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX® 340 chain cable is designed for operation in demanding environments such as marine and industrial applications. It is characterized by high resistance to external factors, including oils, UV radiation and low and high temperatures. The polyurethane construction provides exceptional durability and flexibility, and the shielding minimizes electromagnetic interference.

Construction and properties

This cable is distinguished by its careful construction, using high-quality materials. Copper strands are twisted in pairs, which increases flexibility and facilitates routing in cable chains. The screen made of tinned copper wires provides effective protection against interference. The outer polyurethane coating guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils and other aggressive substances. In addition, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.

  • Stranded bare copper conductors meeting DIN VDE 0295 class 6, BS 6360 class 6 and IEC 60228 class 6 - guarantee reliable and durable connections.
  • Special colored core insulation according to DIN 47100 facilitates identification of individual wires during installation and maintenance.
  • Radiation resistance up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (100 Mrad) - allows use in environments exposed to ionizing radiation.
  • Operating temperature range from -40°C to +80°C (flexible and stationary) - enables operation in extreme temperature conditions.
  • Flame retardancy according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1 - increases safety in case of fire.
  • Halogen-free according to DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-1 / IEC 60754-1 - minimizes the emission of toxic gases during combustion, protecting health and the environment.

Applications and parameters

The SHIPFLEX® 340 cable is primarily used in energy chain systems, but also in other applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. It is ideal for use in the marine, port, mining industries and all types of machines and equipment operating in difficult industrial conditions. The nominal conductor cross-section is 0.25 mm², and the cable has 12 cores. The rated voltage is 500 V (UL: 1000 V). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8.5 mm, and the material of the outer sheath is polyurethane (PUR). The color of the sheath is gray (RAL 7001). The cable is characterized by radiation resistance up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad) and a minimum bending radius of 7.5 x cable diameter.
