Cable for chain guides, 1000 V UL shipflex 340 6x2X1/AWG18 grey, halogen-free, shielded 19966

Cable for chain guides – reliability in harsh conditions

This shielded HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX® 340 chain cable is a solution designed for operation in demanding industrial environments, particularly in applications with chain guides. The cable is distinguished by its high flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for both installers and end-users. The cable complies with UL Style 20234 and is characterized by high resistance to radiation, oils, and weather conditions.

Construction and properties

The SHIPFLEX® 340 cable has been constructed with long-term and trouble-free operation in mind. It uses multi-strand copper conductors (class 6) that provide high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The conductors are insulated with a special material and twisted in pairs, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. A screen made of tinned copper wires (coverage approx. 85%) effectively protects against the influence of external electromagnetic fields. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, oils, and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.

The use of high-quality materials guarantees the maintenance of parameters in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (flexibly and stationary). The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The cable is metered, allowing for precise adjustment of the length to the needs of the installation.

Applications and benefits

This cable is primarily used in:

  • Marine industry: thanks to its high resistance to weather conditions and corrosion.
  • Machines and equipment: especially where oscillating movements or continuous mechanical loads occur (e.g., robotics).
  • Industrial automation: as an element of control and power systems.
  • Shipbuilding industry: due to compliance with standards regarding resistance to marine conditions.

Benefits of choosing this cable:

  • High reliability: thanks to the solid construction and use of high-quality materials.
  • Resistance to external factors: ensures long-term operation even in harsh industrial conditions.
  • Safety: thanks to the halogen-free outer jacket and shielding against electromagnetic interference.
  • Easy installation: the flexible construction makes it easy to lay the cable even in tight spaces.
  • Compliance with standards: meets the requirements of UL Style 20234 and other European directives (CE).

Additional information: the nominal conductor cross-section is 1 mm², and the approximate outer diameter is 13.6 mm. The cable has 12 conductors marked with colors according to DIN 47100 for easy identification.
