Cable for chain guides, 1000 V UL shipflex 340 7x2X0.34/AWG22 grey, halogen-free, shielded 19941
Highly durable cable for chain guides – reliability in harsh conditions. This shielded HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX® 340 cable is a specialized solution designed for operation in demanding industrial environments, particularly in applications with chain guides. The cable is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users looking for a reliable solution. The cable meets UL Style 20234 standards, guaranteeing safety and compliance with international standards.
Construction and properties
The SHIPFLEX® 340 cable is characterized by an advanced construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It is made of high-quality copper strands, twisted into a rope (class 6 according to DIN VDE 0295), which provides high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The strands are insulated with a special material and colored according to DIN 47100, which facilitates identification. In addition, the cable has a screen of tinned copper wires (coverage approx. 85%), which minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating in gray (RAL 7001), resistant to abrasion, oils and UV radiation.
- Shielding: Provides protection against electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in control and automation systems.
- Halogen-free: Meets DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-1 / IEC 60754-1 standards, which means that it does not release toxic gases during combustion – increased fire safety.
- Oil resistance: Compliance with IEC 60092-350 Annex F guarantees trouble-free operation in environments exposed to contact with oils.
- Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties in the temperature range from -40°C to +80°C (flexible and stationary), as well as at low temperatures down to -25°C during installation.
- Mechanical strength: The cable construction provides high resistance to bending and twisting, ideal for use in chain guides.
Applications and parameters
The SHIPFLEX® 340 cable is primarily used in chain guide systems, but also in other industrial applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. It is ideal for powering mobile devices, industrial robots, and construction and agricultural machinery. The use of shielding makes the cable also perfect for control and automation systems, where protection against electromagnetic interference is important.
